Reading a wetsuit size chart
Measure, don’t remember
Weigh yourself in the morning and measure your height without shoes. A couple of kilos of guesswork is often the difference between two sizes.
Snug is right
Wetsuits loosen a little in the water. One that feels comfortable and roomy in the shop will let water flush through on the swim.
Every brand is different
A medium in one brand isn’t a medium in another. Always read the chart for the exact brand — and the exact model line, if the brand publishes more than one.
